My kids are still a little young to be "carving" pumpkins so I thought of this fun way to decorate them with something we already have - Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head pieces! I used my husband's electric drill and made a small hole for each eye, ear, etc. and then the kids pushed the pieces into their pumpkin. It was super easy and a lot of fun. Aren't they cute? I hope you'll try it!

But it's just as good (if not better) than the original :)

Got a freebie for you today to spice up your laundry room! That poor little, neglected room that doesn't get much love.
Aimee from Sprik Space was inspired by the laundry sign (above) that she saw at Ballard Design. What she wasn't inspired by, was the price. So, she decided to make her own and she is sharing it with us!
Choose your color and download the free printable. Put it in a frame and you'll have an instant, stylish laundry room! I chose gray and I'll put it in a white frame. It will have a "clean and fresh" look to it. She even made one for the bathroom, too. Click HERE.

A Pumpkin face pizza would make a fun meal during this Halloween season. They are available at Papa Murphy's or use this photo as inspiration to create your own! It would be a super fun project to do with your kids.
This is the best idea ever.....well., one of them, anyway :) I always put off making caramel apples for my kids because they are so BIG - they are hard to bite (not to mention, very messy). Toni from Design Dazzle has come up with the perfect solution - mini dipped apples! These would be great at any Halloween party for kids or adults! Just the right size. Click HERE for the instructions.
Coldwater Creek is having a sale with many items at 60% off - plus if you use code "WW6159" at checkout - you will receive FREE shipping! This is valid through tomorrow only. Click HERE.

Have you ever been "BOOED"? I found out this Halloween tradition has been around for a while but we have never encountered it in our neighborhood - so I thought I'd get it going!
Here's how it works:
You make a yummy treat for 2 of your neighbors. Wrap it up with a pretty ribbon and attach the free printable "booed" sign. Your neighbor will have instructions to post the sign in the window or on the front door so other neighbors will know they've already been booed. Then, they will make copies of the sign and make new treats for 2 more neighbors. Pretty soon, your whole street will have been "BOOED"!
The TomKat Studio made some cute "We've Been Booed" signs and you can print it for free HERE.
Wouldn't it be fun to start this Halloween tradition in your neighborhood?
Yay! Another magazine deal! If you don't already have this magazine, I really recommend getting it - especially at this price. Best Deals Magazines has it for $4.39 - plus when you enter code "PXCJ1017" at checkout, they lower the price to $3.73 for a whole year! Click image.

I love all the cute Halloween stuff that you can get these days. In fact, I designed some fun cupcake toppers for the kids that I will share in a few days.
But sometimes, you want something not so "cutesy" - know what I mean? So, I designed these wrappers to give your cupcakes a little more style! They turned out so nice, I wanted to share!
Bake the cupcakes as usual - in regular paper cupcake liners. Frost the cupcakes before adding the decorative wrappers.
Print off the free template, cut out the shape and tape the ends together. Arrange the cupcake wrappers on a plate and then drop in the already frosted cupcakes. It's a very simple way to dress up your cupcakes! Click HERE to print template.
