Use Rain Gutters to Organize your Ribbons!

I have a big bag of ribbons in my pantry. Every time I try to find a certain color, the ribbons get all tangled and become a big mess. I saw this idea today and  thought it was brilliant! Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a cheap rain gutter. Attach it to the wall in your craft room, pantry or closet and you have a great space to store your ribbons! They stay all neat and tidy and it's easy to see each one individually. Love it!

I love this idea! I've tried dowel rods, but this is so much handier! Now everything can be color coordinated and changed out quickly and easily! Thanks a lot!

This is pretty neat. I had one of those guns racks that all High School boys (at least in the South) make in Wood Shop Class and laid the dowels across it. To hold them securely in place (like when you are pulling the ribbon) I just put a rubber band around the end of each dowel and the the rack. I do like this with the gutter though - it looks "cleaner".
