Yummy and Pretty 4th of July Desserts!

Need some dessert ideas for  the 4th of July? Take a look at these recipes - they'll make your mouth water and you'll be in the kitchen whipping one up in no time!

Independence Cake from Nestle Tollhouse. Yes, that means there are chocolate chips in the cake...yum!

I'm dying over these Patriotic Cheesecake Bars from The Recipe Girl.

Use this idea from Martha Stewart and top vanilla cupcakes with red and blue fresh fruit. Easy Peasy!

Ok - each slice of cake shows an image of the flag? How cool! Learn how to do this from Elissa at 17 and Baking. She is 18 now and she is incredible.

Here's another easy idea from Better Homes & Gardens: Layer blue and red fruit with homemade fresh whipped cream. Yum.

I love this idea for dipped strawberries from Rachael Ray! So cute!

These Pretzel Sparklers will make a yummy treat and a cute centerpiece as well! Get recipe HERE.

So creative, yet so simple. My kind of dessert! The kids will love these stained glass jello stars from Brown Eyed Baker.

Using ready-made pound cake makes this beautiful dessert super simple! Go HERE for the how-to.

Try this "starry" idea from Taste of Home using blueberry or cherry pie. Click HERE for a blueberry pie recipe and directions for the star cutouts!

Smores on a Stick! Another fun one for the kids from MelaniesCrafts.
